DIYDS 2008 CALL FOR ENTRIES

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: MAY 31, 2008          FESTIVAL DATES: NOVEMBER 14-16, 2008
FEE REQUIREMENTS: NONE                            SUBMISSION LIMIT: 5 entries only
MAXIMUM LENGTH PER ENTRY: 10 minutes

MEDIA FORMATS ACCEPTED: MINIDV(cued to play with proper labeling) and DVD (NTSC)
All filmmakers ust include a digital still (publicity photo) from each film with their submissions. Each still must be labeled according to the film title and saved as a JPEG file on a CD. multiple submission stills can be saved in one CD.

NOTE: All Submitted DVDs must be previewed in various different DVD players for compatibility and quality before submission.

DO NOT USE ANY FIBER-FILLED ENVELOPES, AS IT MAY DAMAGE YOUR MEDIA.

GENRES/CATEGORIES: ANIMATION, DOCUMENTARY, EXPERIMENTAL, NARRATIVE, PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENTS(PSA), VIDEO POETRY, SOCIAL ACTIVISM

NOW INTRODUCING A DIYDS JR. CATEGORY: VIDEOS MADE BY OR WITH CHILDREN BETWEEN THE AGES OF 6-12 YRS. (ENTRIES MADE & CONCEIVED ENTIRELY BY ADULTS ARE NOT ACCEPTED) Please specify the age of the child filmmaker and the extent of involvement in the making of the video.
